Overview
DevHouse was the public face of DevHouse — Internet Software Development House, a software studio offering website builds, custom internet systems, and mobile apps. The site paired marketing pages for those three service lines with an active Portuguese-language technical blog covering Linux administration, mobile rooting/ROMs, SQL Server/MySQL tips, and WordPress development, used as both a lead-generation channel and a public engineering notebook.
The front end ran on a fully custom WordPress theme (DevHouse v2.3.1) built in-house rather than a purchased template, alongside a curated plugin stack the company also recommended to clients: Google Analytics/AdSense, Akismet and a custom CAPTCHA for spam control, Amazon SES for transactional mail, automatic subdomains, and XML sitemap generation.
