Overview

geRHação Gestão de Recursos Humanos is a Brazilian HR consultancy operating in Joinville, Santa Catarina. The firm needed a web presence that could do real work — not just display a phone number, but actively support recruitment, course sales, and business development simultaneously. This portal, launched in 2009, was built on Joomla 1.5 to give a non-technical team full content ownership over every section.

Job Listings

Candidates browsed open positions posted on behalf of geRHação's corporate clients and submitted applications directly through the portal. Centralising intake this way reduced time-to-hire and removed the friction of phone-based applications — measurable improvements to a core revenue activity for any staffing firm.

Professional Training

A structured course section presented geRHação's professional development offerings with descriptions, schedules, and enrollment prompts. Moving this content online reduced inbound qualification calls to the commercial team and gave prospects everything they needed to make a decision before making first contact — shortening the sales cycle.

Client Showcase

A curated section displaying the firm's corporate client roster served as silent social proof throughout the site visit. In B2B HR, the client list is often the closing argument. Keeping it live and up to date via the CMS put that asset directly in the hands of the marketing team, with no developer dependency.

Platform & Architecture

Built on Joomla 1.5 — the dominant PHP CMS of that era — with a custom template aligned to the geRHação brand. Flash-based animations handled the hero rotator and logo mark (standard practice in 2009). MySQL backed the content store. The CMS-driven architecture was the central business decision: it gave the client's non-technical staff direct control over job listings, course schedules, client logos, and editorial content from day one.
