Overview

Núcleo do Evento! was a Brazilian wedding and event web portal serving Joinville and the surrounding region of Santa Catarina. Launched in 2004, it was designed as a one-stop destination for couples, wedding photographers, event organizers, and suppliers involved in weddings, 15th birthday celebrations (debutante), and corporate events.

Built on Joomla 1.x CMS with a fully custom template and Flash-animated logo, the site integrated a VirtueMArt online store selling wedding supplies (costumes, party accessories, and decorations), an editorial blog with photography tips and planning articles for brides, a live chat room, Google Maps for venue discovery, and multi-format RSS feeds to keep subscribers updated on new photography content and products.

The platform doubled as a regional SEO vehicle: the homepage covered virtually every Portuguese-language search term related to weddings, wedding photography, and events in Joinville — driving organic discovery to the supplier directory and storefront. Built and maintained by Leonardo Lima de Vasconcellos, the site remained live from 2004 through 2017, over a decade on the same Joomla installation. This repository is an archived version of the live site, preserved via wget crawl alongside the original Joomla source tree.
