Overview
RitmoSaúde is a Brazilian e-commerce store for fitness and health equipment, built on WordPress and WooCommerce for a personal trainer (Professor Lauro Moraes, CREF-certified) expanding his in-person training business into online retail. This project is the second iteration of the store, succeeding the original site ([llvasconcellos2/ritmo-saude](https://github.com/llvasconcellos2/ritmo-saude)) and rebuilding it on WooCommerce to support a proper product catalog and checkout flow. The catalog centers on Polar heart-rate monitors, cycling computers, and chest-strap transmitters, alongside RipFibras cereal bars.
The build covers the full path from store setup to checkout: a customized WooCommerce theme, product catalog and category structure, and a layer of Brazil-specific commerce plumbing — Correios integration for live CEP-based shipping rates, PagSeguro for local payment processing, and CPF/CNPJ fields required for Brazilian invoicing. A custom woocommerce-ritmo-saude plugin, Mailchimp signup integration, and a Google Analytics dashboard rounded out the store's marketing and reporting needs.
The site launched in October 2017 and went through iterative fixes (notably around CEP/shipping address handling) through mid-2018.
