Overview
This project is a static HTML/CSS/jQuery wireframe for Tlantic, a Portuguese retail-technology company specializing in mobility, automation, business intelligence and e-business solutions for the retail sector. The brief was to translate Tlantic's institutional positioning — "Inovação e Tecnologia no Varejo" ("Innovation and Technology in Retail") — into a corporate site capable of presenting four distinct business lines (Mobilidade, Automação, Inteligência, e-Business) alongside company history, partners, and press coverage, without overwhelming the visitor.
The wireframe centers on a hero slideshow and a multi-tier dropdown mega-menu, where each top-level item (Quem Somos, Soluções, Cases) expands into four sub-sections with their own descriptive copy — effectively a full sitemap surfaced at the navigation level. A secondary auto-rotating carousel handles news and press releases independently of the hero. The footer repeats the entire navigation as a flat sitemap, both for usability and for search-engine crawlability — important for a B2B vendor whose buyers often arrive via search rather than direct navigation.
The repository preserves both the original site source (www/) and a wget-crawled snapshot of the live site (rip/), kept for archival reference.
